But... if I go back...
"I... will be sold...?" Silver lightly bit his lips, looking back yet again, somewhat reluctant to leave as he glanced behind him. Even thought it didn't look like it, Silver knew that place in the distance, it was after all the home he had grown up in for over the past twelve years. He was picked up and brought there by an old priest, and although it was foretold he would undergo an extraordinary experience in his life, him being a motherless and fatherless orphan had, to the contrary, forced him to eke out an existence under the scornful eyes of others after that old priest had passed on. So even if this prediction of the old priest was wise, and the man reason for him to be brought to that simple village, it did did not change the fact that he was living under someone else's roof.
Silver impatiently ran through towards the inside, the Boston Ivy folding in behind him, returning to state they were in initially. Because the sunlight was obstructed, the interior of the cave was very dim. Without any idea as to how long he had been walking, Silver could only hear the trickles of water drops hitting atop the stone. Suddenly, the shaking dragging sound came from in front of him; then hissing, a large shadow approached, making the top of his head grow numb.
Dejected, Silver leant against a mountain wall covered in Boston Ivy and sat down, he was tired, he did not stop moving for an entire day... no—more than that—it had been three whole days since he had last eaten anything... if he kept going on like this, he would certainly die.
Noticing the faint rumbling of thunder from the heavens, Silver laughed bitterly. He did not want to die, he did not want to be sold off as a slave, but...
A strange scent then appeared, bringing with it a captivating and confusing charm. Silver, struck by both an extremely exhausted body along with his mind, in the end, fell into the darkness under the cries of the hissing snakes.
But unexpectedly, the Boston Ivy also moved backwards with him, as behind it was hollow! This discovery made Silver's eyes brighten. This meant there could be a cave behind it, but none of this was not for certain.
The village head... wanted to sell him.

They were clearly a kind person, so why would they use such a dreadful tone while calmly deciding his fate?!

The village head... wanted to sell him.
Frightened, Silver stumblingly fled the village, hiding himself in the huge mountain located behind the village.
But... if I go back...
He had already turned thirteen this year, and was the best looking child in that village. But, due to him studying under that priest, compared to the other children in the village around his age, he was much smaller and far more... weak.
Fleeing in any which way he could, Silver was already lost beyond the mountain road. Hard and thorny branches slicing through his skin, the pain emitted from his wounds forcing his speed to slow.
it's messed up so tap out now if it's not for you.
At thirteen years old, one was already considered an adult in that village, but Silver's knowledge with regard hunting or farming was... well, he simply had none. All it took was three days before the grain in the house had run out, and Silver had long finished reading all the books the priest had left behind in the house. So it was after this that he had overheard something incredible.

Silver eyes grew wide, his steps instantly freezing upon seeing the snakes. He wanted to run, but his limbs did not listen to him, his eyes only being able to widen as he saw himself become enveloped by a countless number of tiny snakes which dragged him away. His body was then covered completely by those ice-cold serpents for a while, the flimsy clothing he had worn gnawed away bit by bit by those small critters, allowing the cold and gloomy air of the snake pit to gradually sweep over his body. During this feast of despair, Silver could not move an inch, and so could only lifelessly bear the pain overtaking every inch of his form.
But even at a normal speed, there was no way for a person to make it over that mountain on their own.
Dejected, Silver leant against a mountain wall covered in Boston Ivy and sat down, he was tired, he did not stop moving for an entire day... no—more than that—it had been three whole days since he had last eaten anything... if he kept going on like this, he would certainly die.

So Silver, whose heart resigned to awaiting death, had this thought coursing through, his body leant back.
